A large healthcare provider is currently looking for an experienced Estates and Facilities professional, with specialist knowledge and background as a Legionella expert.

Key Responsibilities:
- Will play a key role in ensuring the organisation meets its statutory compliance requirements, contractual arrangements and so complies with its health and safety regarding water safety, in particular the control of Legionella and Legionnaires disease;
- Responsible for working with the Energy and Sustainability Manager and Technical Services Manager to offer technical advice when designing, installing and maintaining new water systems in order to meet regulatory energy requirements;
- Will be the registered responsible person for the organisation in relation to Water safety;
- Ability to provide specialist technical advice relating to present and future maintenance methods to meet statutory requirements or needs;
- Identify, diagnose, analyse and provide solutions to complex maintenance issues using specialist methods and innovative ideas as required;
- Design, specify, plan and report on complex implementation programmes of planned maintenance, tailored to the buildings and/or services involved, utilising a high level of numeracy and literacy;
A successful candidate will have:
- An ability to communicate clearly on highly technical issues in a clear and uncomplicated way, with other specialists, non-specialists, or senior managers across the organisation;
- Demonstrated background in holding the responsible person for Legionella and Legionnaires role in a large complex organisation;
- Specific qualifications/professional development in line with the requirements of the role.
