My client is recruiting for a Technical Services Manager to work on a prestigious North West contract. Managing a team of Engineers and Supervisors, the Technical Services Manager will be responsible for ppm and reactive maintenance across a regional commercial portfolio.
This role is Monday - Friday with flexible working hours and comes with a company vehicle or allowance as well as an annual performance related bonus.
Duties of the role include:
- Staff Management of Supervisors and engineers
- Analysing team performance against KPI's and looking to make continuous improvements
- Management of subcontractors who are utilised for specialist engineering works
- Ownership of the asset strategy including the delivery of forward maintenance plan
- Recruitment of engineering staff, looking to grow the team
- Relationship management with the customer to ensure they are pleased with the service provided and a strong communication exists on the contract.
- Ensure health and safety are delivered across the contract, keeping up to date with legislation
- Work with the project team on to ensure additional works are completed to a high standard
- Management of team budgets to make sure works are brought in to price, saving costs wherever possible
Experience:
The ideal candidate for the role will have the following skills and experience:
- Come from a technical background and hold a technical or trades qualification
- Experience of man management
- Able to progress and grow a team
- Strategic thinker
- NEBOSH or IOSH very desirable
