The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a well-qualified and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join a young and growing company.
Driven by innovation and sustainability the role of Quality Assurance Manager will support the senior team and ensure all projects and products are implemented safely and efficiently throughout the entire designed lifespans. They will ensure the implementation and maintenance of a suitable Quality Management System and deliver QA for product supply.

Key Responsibilities
- Compliance with customer specific requirements ensuring regulatory adherence in a factory setting.
- Compliance with offsite manufacturing accreditation boards.
- Develop/improve quality control processes in the factory, ensuring high quality products leave the factory through to installation on site.
- Manage documentation of Quality Assurance and Quality Control for accreditation via a properly managed risk-based QMS.
- Assist with ongoing efforts to maintain BOPAS accreditation.
- Drive ongoing efforts to attain further accreditation, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.
- Design and management of internal auditing process.
- Effectively identify and communicate changes to design both administratively and within production.
- Verify that proper change control processes are followed.
- Identify, address and drive corrective action to any deficiencies above.
- Assist with Safety Program Execution, including incident reporting, JHAs and logs.
- Assist in compliance with the company’s H&S policy and infuse the same within the day-to-day working culture within the factory
Essential Attributes:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar.
- At least 6 years of relevant work experience in a similar role within industrial manufacturing.
- Demonstrable experience with accreditation process implementation, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.
- Management of internal audit systems.
- Ability to read drawings, specifications, reports and contract agreements.
- Good understanding of change control and how it relates to quality output.
- Proficiency in reviewing plans and specs and verification of all components.
- Professional time management and highly effective interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages: Excel and Word, in particular.
Ideal/Non-Essential Competencies:
- Working knowledge of Lean principles or similar.
- Experience monitoring feedback of processes and quality (i.e. SPC. GR&R).
- H&S experience and certification (e.g. NEBOSH).
- Knowledge of MRP system.
