Technical Services Manager
Nationwide
£50k - £55k plus £4k car allowance

If you're a technical services, M&E or maintenance manager looking for a new challenge this job will give you that same feeling. You'll join us just as we're beginning a new contract with a nationwide professional services organisation and, as Technical Services Manager, you'll be at the forefront of delivering the hard services provision across the portfolio.
This is a position where you'll be able to shape how we run the technical aspects of this account. As you're coming in right at the beginning you'll be in charge of asset management, PPM schedules, lifecycle planning and forward maintenance regimes, managing risk and overseeing our hard FM supply chain.
There will be a lot of support within the business for you. Your regional colleagues and national subject matter experts who sit alongside you will are all pulling in the same direction to get the contract up and running smoothly.
As the main technical services professional across this account you'll have a lot of interaction with Asset Managers, property experts and the senior management team within our clients. To enjoy this position you'll have to be confident presenting to these sorts of people and driving your ideas through to them.
As this is such a high profile position we will need you to have worked in a similar job overseeing hard facilities services across a multi-site estate before, ideally having worked as an Engineer in the past. You'll be looking after 150 sites across the UK so there will be an element of travelling involved (hence the car) so you will need a UK driving licence.
