M&E Design Consultant
London
£250 - £350 per day
Energy management and efficiency is massively important in the public sector and you'll be at the forefront of delivering this, saving costs which can be ploughed back into hospitals, schools and social services. You'll be working with organisations like these alongside commercial and industrial businesses to work up M&E projects that go above and beyond that.
You'll be given free range to develop systems and utilise cutting edge products - our ultimate goal is making sure the solutions we offer are as tailored, efficient and exciting as they can be.
As you're working from home I can't tell you what your office looks like (that would be creepy) but you'll be in regular contact with the Project Director, your colleagues in the commercial and technical teams along with external contractors to bring your vision to life. You will need to visit client sites so you will get to be people-facing too.
We're winning contracts across the country and a lot of those projects have quirks and niche requirements which means your work will always varied and designs will be bespoke. To enjoy this you'll need to have a background in the full design and build process and be happy overseeing medium to large M&E industrial and commercial projects.
Your workloads will vary dependent upon the projects we're winning so this is going to suit a consultant with multiple clients who is looking to pick up an additional 1 - 2 days' work per week.
