Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + company car + excellent benefits package
I am currently working with a H&S construction consultancy who are looking to expand their H&S team due to continued and consistent success of the business. As a company, they have grown in size, due to the quality of their work and forward-thinking attitude.
They are looking for a focused and independent H&S Consultant, who is looking to work on a number of exciting projects within the residential, commercial, retail, education, industrial, office, sport, leisure and healthcare sectors. If you’re looking for an opportunity to work with a expanding H&S organisation with room for progression within the companies structure then this could be the position for you.
The post holder will have responsibility for the management of health and safety on projects under their control and ensuring these projects meet the business standards on project governance. The post holder will also be flexible to deliver other construction, project health, and general H&S compliance reviews/audits, COSHH and risk assessments.
My client is looking for an experienced H&S Consultant to join the team who has the relevant industry qualifications with a NEBOSH Construction (minimum) and membership to IOSH. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop leadership and client-facing skills, whilst being a part of a growing and successful business.
Duties:
Working alongside a team of other consultants to provide H&S and CDM support to a variety of clients in the construction sector
Ensure compliance in line with CDM regulation throughout the client portfolio
Working alongside large-scale Principal Contractors to influence H&S
Support the implementation of H&S policy and procedure
Conduct audits/inspections of sites from design to completion stage client-wide
Recent experience as H&S Consultant and knowledge of CDM2015 Regulations
Experience of working within a busy, demanding customer focused environment, and the ability to engage Principal Contractors and external clients at all levels.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH Construction or relevant industry equivalent qualification (minimum)
- Membership of IOSH
- 4 - 5 years in a similar position delivering H&S advice in the construction sector
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015
