£43,000 - £46,000 + Car Allowance & Benefits Package
The Company:

They specialise in providing mechanical and electrical building services, building fabrics repair and soft services to multiple sectors inclusive of commercial offices, education, critical environments, retail sites, shopping centres, local authorities, distribution and logistics, manufactures.
Our client is currently looking to recruit an experienced contracts manager to oversee their highly prestigious National Grid contract across The Midlands, East of England and London.
The Role:
You will manage the various onsite hard services multi trade teams and selected sub-contractors; to ensure the agreed client KPI's and SLAs are met whilst delivering service excellence. Reporting to the Account Manager you will motivate and lead the facilities team to deliver both innovation and cost savings, whilst maintaining the highest level of both service delivery and compliance
Contract Manager Responsibilities:
- To ensure Service stream and operational personnel manage their contracts to the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) as they apply to Mechanical and Electrical, Technical and related services
- To agree targets for the operational teams to improve service delivery standards and efficiency
- To monitor and develop direct reports through training and regular reviews
- To ensure that all risks relating to safety, health, environment and quality are effectively managed through the use of risk assessments, PPE, training and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment for both employees and clients
- To work with the operational team in planning, implementing and monitoring the standards of all works relating to the PPM schedule and reactive works on a mechanical and electrical contracts
- To work with the operational and support teams to ensure all completion times for planned, corrective and reactive works are correctly logged and recorded within the company's asset management system
- To establish, operate and maintain procedures for the effective planning, organisation, control, monitor and review of the mechanical and electrical services
- To review the interface with third party suppliers and sub-contractors
- To drive successful contract negotiations and business improvement initiatives
- To manage any support functions as required to deliver a coherent service
- To maintain commercial understanding of the client contractual deliverables across all services
- To maintain and agree a clear business plan for the appointed contract
- To work with Operational Management to develop performance measurement and improvement objectives in line with business plan through positive collaboration
- To minimise both work in progress and debt levels and drive a positive cash contribution from the account
- To set, monitor and control SLAs for key contracts seeking opportunities to provide added value across the delivery stakeholders
- To develop effective working relationships with operational personnel, business partners, suppliers and sub-contractors to improve operational performance.
Qualifications:
- Building Engineering Services or related Engineering Qualification at or equivalent to: ONC/ HNC level/ City & Guilds In Plumbing, Carpentry or Building Services Essential
- IOSH Managing Safely (Desired Not Essential)
- NEBOSH National/ International Certificate (Desired Not Essential)
- Membership of one or more of: CIBSE /IMechE /IET / BIFM (Desired not Essential)
- Substantial Experience in a similar role
- Experience of development and use of CAFM systems
- Mobilisation of Operation and Maintenance service delivery experience within a Mechanical and Electrical division
Contract Manager Salary Package:
- Salary: £43,000 - £47,000 + Car Allowance
