Maintenance Plumber
Working for one of the leading Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance / Facilities Maintenance companies in the UK. As a company they employ over 2,000 multi-skilled engineers and turnover more than £1.5 billion

You will be working on a large established site in the Chichester area. You will have support of approved sub-contractors and the mobile division.
Whilst on site you will be carrying out a range of mechanical/plumbing maintenance. The role will involve a range of mechanical and plumbing maintenance providing a service that ensures all mechanical equipment is running to optimum performance, that ensures all key performance indicators are met.
Whilst on site you might also be required from time to time to carry out some more general building maintenance, this could be replacing a ceiling tile, or putting a door handle back on for example.
Working hours are 8am - 5pm Mon - Fri with overtime paid either time & half or double time.
You will need to be level 2 plumbing qualified or equivalent.
Qualifications or Required Experience
- Proven experience as a day engineer in building services within prestigious environment.
- City and guild qualification and any relevant qualification in all aspects of building services and mechanical engineering
- Mechanically skilled engineer with a knowledge of HVAC, Building services (water, heating, ventilation and waste)
- Having administration skills to maintain computer based and hardcopy systems for statutory inspection and test.
- Be able to react and work on your own initiative on an on call system.
- Operate all systems within the building in a competent, effective and efficient manner, adhering to relevant guidelines and bulletins.
- Ensure that service providers work sheets are signed off, quality of works are inspected and any recommendations are escalated
- Responsible for escalation of all incidents ensuring the escalation procedure is adhered to
