Hospitality Production Manager
London
Our client is currently recruiting for a Hospitality Production Manager to oversee and ensure smooth management and development of this major sporting event project in London.
Reporting to the International Event Catering Director you will bring your in-depth experience of large VIP event project management.
Role
- Lead, coach and develop a team of venue production team members including local staff and suppliers.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of project plan at the venues.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Organize and direct frequent internal and external meetings.
- Organize and manage site visits with all required parties as needed.
- Plan and control budget provide frequent direct reporting.
- Act as a supportive and competent contact person for internal and external partners.
- Professionally represent the company on a transnational level.
- Develop project plans and prepare tenders for sub-suppliers.
- Responsible for interface management for all venue areas.
- Plan on-site setup and dismantling.
- Monitor and guide quality assurance measures as well as the legal requirements.
- Responsible for project management on a day-to-day basis to ensure a relevant and smooth development.
- Handle the project administration, reporting and debriefing.
- Support other project team members as required and replace them in their absence in other projects whenever needed.
- Ensure supplier contracts are meeting expected scope, quality levels and financial targets.
- Ensure the overall management of on-site production implementation at all venues.
- Provide compilation of project documentation and execute post-processing.
Experience
- Qualification in project management or equivalent direct work experience
- Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management including relevant tools and techniques
- Proven experience in people management
- Proven experience in strategic planning
- Proven experience in risk management
- Proven experience in change management
- Passionate, flexible and self-motivated attitude
- Service-oriented, positive personality, with a hands-on approach
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in French & English
- Willingness to travel
- Advanced level in MS office package as well as in project management software
