SPACE-2 is a creative property consultancy who specialise in sourcing, promoting and managing locations for a wide range of clients primarily in the film, TV and event production sectors. The role as outlined below would suit a candidate with a broad skillset and be happy to take on a range of responsibilities including but not limited to:
■ Efficient and effective management of our production base facilities / services & locations
■ Procurement and Contract management of Suppliers
■ Calculating and comparing costs for required goods and services
■ Negotiating with suppliers to achieve maximum value
■ Coordinating building maintenance, both ongoing and ad-hoc management and administration
■ Liaison with our property partner estate managers to ensure site facilities are maintained satisfactorily
■ Management of new space refurbishments, renovations and office moves, as they arise
■ Key point of contact for facilities related health and safety matters in the business
■ Management and administration of ICT provisions across the business
■ Budget and record keeping of third-party suppliers, including stringent management of costs and budgets
■ Management and facilitating of third-party suppliers in their provision of facilities services:
■ Maintenance contracts for mechanical, electrical and public health systems subcontractors
■ Security contracts for the building, including access control and CCTV systems
■ Reception, maintenance, mail, and archiving services within the business
■ Cleaning, waste disposal and recycling within the business
■ Work with the SPACE-2 Produce team to ensure a continued excellent customer experience
■ Planning for future development in line with strategic business objectives
■ Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise
■ Client liaison in relation to facilities management issues and cases arising

You will be required to work on a flexible basis, occasionally out of hours and at weekends as required.
The ideal candidate would be solution-oriented, innovative, flexible and a team player; would thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment, be able to work within tight deadlines and have a passion for customer service as well as be interested in supporting SPACE-2 in delivering creative environments for media and event production clients.
The role will be part-location, part-office based in London but some travel across the UK may be required on occasion. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are a benefit.
Salary according to experience.
