The role working for one of the world's leading Estates and Facilities Management maintenance companies. Globally they have a turnover of over £50 billion and 6.6 million occupants across their managed sites.
We are recruiting for an experienced resident Commercial Steam Boiler Engineer to provide building services maintenance to a state of the art critical site in the Cambridge area.
The Commercial Steam Boiler Engineer role is a permanent site based position
Salary £35 - £36k p/a
Monday - Friday 40 hours per week
Job Specification:
- Strong experience of planned & reactive maintenance works of a mechanical bias - alongside good general steam and M&E maintenance knowledge.
- Works Include: steam pressure links and pipework, plant and pipework, pumps and valves and commercial plumbing plus steam boilers
- Log Book Management & Reports
- Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations with regards to maintenance activities
- Daily communication with client
- Maintenance of industrial plant room and pilot plants
- Strong leadership skills
- Able to produce quotes
The Person:
- City & Guilds Qualified in steam or Mechanical Engineering or Commercial Gas
- Experience in a Steam and pressure systems
- The Commercial Steam Boiler Engineer will need to be hardworking and career driven
- Driving Licence for the on site vehicle
