The Finegreen Group are currently partnering with Integrated Facilities Management Bolton Limited (iFM Bolton), a wholly owned subsidiary company of Bolton NHS Foundation Trust created for the provision of estates and facilities services. iFM Bolton was formally established in July 2016 and became operational on 1st January 2017 when cleaning and portering services previously provided by a private company were taken over by the Trust’s own subsidiary. On 31st March 2016 Estates, catering and procurement services were also transferred into iFM Bolton and contracts signed for the provision of an Operated Healthcare Facility from 1st April 2017.
iFM Bolton are not alone and other NHS Trusts across the country have lunched similar entities, we are however still at the early stages of this concept. As NHS Trusts establish these new vehicles they present exciting opportunities, they also present complex challenges in ensuring the companies operate with the highest levels of governance and probity. To support iFM Bolton’s continued development they are now seeking to appoint a Governance, Contracts and Compliance Manager.
The postholder will have to develop and embed strong policies and frameworks for all of its commercial activities, both in dealing with their parent company as a client and other NHS and private sector partners. They will need to protect the integrity of iFM Bolton and the business model it represents by ensuring robust contracts in place.
Suitable candidates will have worked in a highly regulated environment and will be able to manage the assurance process, specifically ensuring that all governance requirements are reported on and compliance issues are analysed and followed up on. They will also oversee the process of concluding internal audit management actions, ensuring that data is analysed and management reports are produced by senior management for the Board of Directors as required. In addition to this they will be the General Data Protection Officer, Senior Information Risk Owner and operational lead for Information Governance.
Applications will close on: Sunday 24th February 2019
Shortlisting interviews will be held on: w/c 25th February 2019
Final interviews will be held on: w/c 4th March 2019
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within an innovative organisation, and a business model which challenges the way non-clinical services are delivered within the NHS. If you have the skills and experience outlined above and you want to deliver an outstanding service, please contact our retained recruitment partner Zoe Allen, at The Finegreen Group on 0161 416 6086.
