Our Client is a wonderful privately-owned building services company renowned for their integrity, passion and quality of work. They now seek an experienced and entrepreneurial maintenance professional to take on the facilities side of the business based in London.
As the operations manager your role will be help lead the growth and development of the department whilst ensuring standards to delivery are maintained to the highest standards.
Currently the department is predominantly mobile planned and reactive mechanical/electrical maintenance in London, and you will provide leadership to a small but highly skilled group of multiskilled engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for sustainable Growth and Operations
- Accountable for department Commercial overview
- Line maanagement of small engineering team.
- Ensure all planned preventative service and maintenance visits are carried out
- Renewal/quotation of maintenance contracts as and when dates arise
- Control all service calls as they arise
- Preparing quotations for new maintenance contracts
- Preparing quotations for small projects
- Ensure invoices are raised for all service, maintenance and special projects with the Accounts Department and monitor debtors
- Responsible for Departments Health and Safety procedures
- Regular meetings with existing clients and prospective new clients
- Retaining existing client base
- Development of future business relationships
- Monitoring sales against targets and cost control/reporting monthly to Directors
