Our client a leading globally established Facilities Maintenance Service Provider who have a presence within the FTSE250 are now recruiting for a Mobile Operations Supervisor to supervise the Mobile Engineering Team, resources and systems to ensure the company maintains a high-quality Service, at all times.
Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of M&E/civil PPM activities delivered by the engineering teams and specialist sub-contractors/service providers. Also responsible for the welfare, direct management and administrative processes to support employees within the delivery team.
Responsibilities
Key duties, though not exhaustive, are listed below;
- Working within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve set goals and deliver business strategy
- Responsible for the delivery of planned and reactive works within area/cluster
- Planning and co-ordination of works with management teams and supply chain
- Support to incidental works and other new works projects, including providing quotes and specialist advice
- Responsible for the performance management, absence management, recruitment, selection and development of staff
- Ensure staff are trained to carry out works safely, efficiently and to standard, including adherence to RAMS an any associated permits
- Responding to customer needs and building relationships in a professional manner
- Provide accurate commercial data to ensure works are completed to time and budget
- Monitor performance and report accordingly
- Produce performance measures and monitor/audit to ensure that performance indicators, SLA's and contractual obligations are met if not exceeded
What we are looking for
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in relevant engineering maintenance field (or equivalent other qualification recognised by CITB/EITB/JIB)
- Appropriate up to date training to make use of relevant equipment/tools
- Up to date knowledge of technical regulations applicable to core craft and how this applies to role
- Good understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and its application within role
- Fault diagnosis and resolution
- Experience in installing and maintaining mechanical and/or electrical equipment
- Able to read and understand technical drawings
- Electrical Inspection & Testing (Desired not essential)
