Head of Business Development – London based
Senior commercial role – fast growth business
Accommodation / Room led / Serviced apartment
Must have good understanding of the management company – owners relationship
Role responsibilities:
- Working with Senior Management, develop growth strategy including approach, forecast and team structure
- Build supply as per growth strategy, agreeing appropriate commercials (P&L responsibility) for long-term partnerships
- Ensure that feedback from the key partners and senior managers is communicated to the broader business and acted on as necessary.
- Develop deep understanding of the hotel sector in London (specifically independent sector) including: locations, average rooms rates, occupancy levels, etc
- Support the development of a coherent revenue strategy and continuous product development
- Collaborate with broader team to ensure that the UK business succeeds, and becomes an “employer-of-choice” for the best talent in the market
Experience and Qualifications required:
- Local knowledge is essential
- Educated to degree level, with a strong academic record
- Clear track record of success in business development/sales
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role in a high growth business – tech-enabled and B2B preferable, but not essential
- Start-up experience preferable but not essential
- Background in professional services, including consulting, is preferable but not essential
