Cornerstone Curates Free Learning to Underpin Recruiting Resiliency
Cornerstone OnDemand, Inc, a global leader in people development solutions has announced the launch of its Hiring Heroes portal, providing free learning content tailored to those in the Talent Acquisition community.
Like many operations, the pandemic turned recruitment on its head. Industries, such as logistics, groceries and retail saw huge demand prompting a fast hiring spree – the likes of Tesco hired 20,000 workers to keep up with demand – whilst others faced the challenges of recruiting for hard to find skills with people unsure about moving. Talent Acquisition teams had to quickly adapt and change tactics with as many as 86% of organisations conducting virtual interviews to hire candidates. Now, with more than two thirds of recruiters expecting to continue online hiring, organisations must focus on continually upskilling and training their hiring teams.
Cornerstone’s Hiring Heroes portal is designed to upskill and empower Talent Acquisition teams to face the challenges ahead. The portal curates Cornerstone learning playlists to improve recruiters’ skills on topics such as recruitment marketing, talent sourcing and building a business case for recruitment. It will also serve as a virtual community for recruiters to connect with peers in the Talent Acquisition space in order to share knowledge and learnings.

The Hiring Heroes platform follows closely in the footsteps of Cornerstone Cares, a free public learning platform launched by Cornerstone in response to the coronavirus pandemic, providing information, resources and best practices to help people learn, adapt and support others.
