- Leadership: Lead, recruit, and develop a dedicated technical team.
- Project Ownership: Direct responsibility for renovations and major technical upgrades.
- Strategic Impact: Advise on investment proposals and implement energy-saving measures.
- Stability: Ownership of long-term safety, compliance, and maintenance standards.
Your Experience:
- Language Skills: Fluent Dutch is essential (written and spoken) for managing local certificates, municipal authorities, and Dutch-speaking external firms.
- Proven Experience: Minimum 5 years in a technical role with at least 3 years in a leadership/management position.
- Education: A completed HBO (Higher Professional Education) degree.
- Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of electricity, gas, water, and structural engineering.
- Safety & Compliance: Expertise in hospitality safety aspects, environmental reporting, and managing legal permits/certificates.
- Operational Management: Experience in work scheduling, performance reviews, and quality control of technical execution.

Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience monitoring energy-saving measures and maintaining energy/environmental reports.
- Experience with local inspection marks (e.g., elevator and fire safety equipment certification).
Core Competencies:
- Solution-Focused: You look past the problem to find the solution.
- Proactive: You anticipate bottlenecks and take action early rather than waiting for instructions.
- Decisive: You provide opinions backed by facts and intervene immediately if standards are not met.
- Resourceful: You efficiently organize time, resources, and people to ensure high-quality delivery.
