I am very excited to be working on this newly created role for a fast-growing client. I am keen to speak with Head of Development candidates who have delivered construction projects in both the UK and Europe.

The group properties are unique and diverse, often with historical significance and complex structural requirements. The mainstay of the role with be refurbishments, upgrades and extensions within existing sites. Home to functional spaces, accommodation, leisure and hospitality facilities, standards are high and the environments being created will be put through scrutinous process.

All about you.

You will be an excellent communicator and collaborator with experience of delivering construction projects in both the UK and in the EU.

You will be adept at working with Architects, Planners, Project Management teams and Engineers to create and deliver the programme of works on time, on budget and to exacting standards. Ideally you will have worked on both small upgrade works and large scale, complex construction projects previously and will be adept at cost management, tender process and financial reporting. Experience of working with Private Equity backed businesses would be an advantage along with being comfortable working with a small agile team. On occasion, projects may be undertaken in ‘live sites’ so a good understanding of the compliance around that is needed. This role reaches into development is Europe so the ability and willingness to travel is a must.
