Planning Co-ordinator

£25,000k + Company Progression & Benefits

Monday - Thursday / 7.30am - 5.30pm

Working on a large government contract which has recent contract renewal 5+2+2+1, you will be working part of a large team on site reporting and working closely to the Site Manager. The site is 48 acres, you will be provided with on site vehicle use when required.

Responsibilities:


  • Working with the Site Manager delivering a wide range of works, as directed
  • Working with the client site office team to ensure compliance reports and training records are up to date.
  • Organise daily work packs for the site facilities coordinator
  • Attend weekly/daily planning meetings with the client
  • Organise site visitors and contractor vetting
  • Ensure site audit paperwork and client system are updated
  • Working with engineers to assist with work on PDAs
  • Be able to have meetings and conversations with the client planning team.
  • Be able to be flexible and willing to diverse and create new systems where required.
  • Desirable- have a technical background to be able to aid in client and contractor conversations regarding works required.
  • Ensure that their personnel are trained and registered in accordance with the Construction Skills Certification Scheme; details of recognised training authorities are in the CONSI's.
  • Complete reports and system updates as instructed by Site Manager and or Project manager
  • Take responsibility for your own training needs and bring them to the attention of the Site Manager
  • Booking Sub contractors onto site.

Qualifications


  • The individual needs to have a strong IT background, with a good understanding of Microsoft word and excel.
  • Be able to work to their own initiative and work under pressure
  • Have good knowledge Maximo and CAD systems
