Build Recruitment are working with a London based NHS Trust to make the key appointment of Estates Manager: Minimum 6month contract paying up to £41 per hour (umbrella).
Reporting to the Head of Estates, the Estates Manager will have responsibility for the management and development of the Contracts, Building, Mechanical and Electrical teams, ensuring a cohesive and collaborate approach to service delivery is maintained.
The Estates Manager will also be responsible for ensuring the provision of responsive, high quality, customer focussed Estates services that meet the needs of patients, staff, and visitors, as well as leading the implementation of the Estates Legislative requirements.
Working closely with the Head of Estates, the Estates Manager will also assist on the management of Statutory compliance within buildings relating to Asbestos Management, control of Legionella, Electricity at Work, Pressure Vessel Systems. COSHH, Gas Safety (Corgi), DDA, CDM, NHS HTMs and HBNs Guidance Documents.
Key to the success of this role will see the Estates Manager develop and maintain key relationships with a range of stakeholders including Maintenance Operatives, Engineers, Clinical Staff, and Contractors in order to deliver excellent service to end users and to ensure cost effective and best value is obtained.
It is expected that applicants will have an Engineering/Technical background (degree or relevant experience) as well as having held senior management positions.
It is essential that applicants have NHS / Hospital / Healthcare experience and a full drivers licence.
