Static Electrical Engineer
£48,000 - £50,000 per annum
4 on 4 off - Days & Nights
Greater London – E14
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Shift Engineer to join their well-established team. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets.
The successful candidate will have a strong range of Electrical experience ideally within the FM sector, be client facing and ideally qualified to NVQ/City & Guilds level 2/3 in Plumbing/Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent. They will be expected to have a flexible attitude towards work, as well as supporting the wider business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide a reactive and proactive maintenance service
- Provide a multi skilled maintenance engineering service, which covers mainly electrical and minor mechanical disciplines
- Provide a service that ensures all electrical and mechanical equipment is running to optimum performance
- Provide a service that ensures all key performance indicators are met
- Carry out modifications and installations when required
- Liaise with sub-contractors and external suppliers
- Take ownership of tools and equipment provided and ensure they are maintained to an appropriate standard
- Liaise with client/management
Qualifications / Experience.
- Minimum NVQ/City and Guilds level 2/3 qualification in relevant engineering maintenance
- Electrical shift background ideal
- 4 years experience as a minimum desirable
- Previous maintenance experience in a commercial environment
- Be flexible towards work & carry out duties that may not be specific to your trade
- Very well presented
