We have a great opportunity to join of the largest FM companies in the UK based at a static site in Peckham, Greater London. Our client is looking for an experienced Plumbing Engineer to join a growing team across an exciting educations contract. As part of the team you will join a growing team and be part of an on-call rota for which you will need a drivers license.

We are looking to recruit a Plumbing Engineer with a good knowledge of Facilities Maintenance. The ideal candidate needs to be reliable, able to complete work within required time frame and manage own deadline requirements. Have a calm manner and be able to work under pressure and against rapidly changing demands and priorities. Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing support to other areas of the business on occasions, as required.

Job specific responsibilities:
- Carry out Planned and Reactive maintenance across a static site
- Be part of a team carrying out general maintenance outside of their typical discipline
- Carry out all works to the highest standard and to current regulations
- Assist other engineers on works
- Work closely with the client on site and meet their standard of work and practice
Experience/Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating or Plumbing Studies (Ideal)
- Ideally applicants will have a trade qualification (Carpentry/Plumbing/Painting & Decorating)
- A can do attitude towards any given task
- Previous experience working as a Plumbing Engineer/Fabric Technician
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
