We have a great opportunity to join of the largest FM companies in the UK based at a static site in Peckham, Greater London. Our client is looking for an experienced Fabric Engineer to join a growing team across an exciting educations contract. As part of the team you will join a growing team and be part of an on-call rota for which you will need a drivers license.

We are looking to recruit a Fabric Technician / Handyperson with a good knowledge of Facilities Maintenance. The ideal candidate needs to be reliable, able to complete work within required time frame and manage own deadline requirements. Have a calm manner and be able to work under pressure and against rapidly changing demands and priorities. Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing support to other areas of the business on occasions, as required.

Job specific responsibilities:
- Plumbing
- Basic Electrics
- Basic Carpentry
- Lamp changing
- Take Tap Temperatures
- Flushing
- PPM's
- Reactive maintenance
- Plant Room Checks
- Assist other engineers onsite as required
- Replacement of floor tiles (carpet ceramic)
- Replace suspended ceiling tiles and clean ceiling grilles
- Painting & Decorating
- Tiling
- Client facing role
Experience/Qualifications:
- Ideally applicants will have a trade qualification (Carpentry/Plumbing/Painting & Decorating)
- A can do attitude towards any given task
- Previous experience working as a Fabric Technician
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
