- 36 hours per week - Hybrid role - sites based in Leeds
- 9 Months FTC
We are currently recruiting for a Projects Co-ordinator to work for a prestigious client in the Leeds area on a small but varied and interesting portfolio of local buildings. The role is for 9 months contract as this is to cover the peak of the project work, should things continue to be busy there is a possibility it may become permanent. The role is to support the Estates Manager in the running of the small works projects on site, organising work and liaising with subcontractors to organise minor refurbishment works. The role will also support in developing policies for the maintenance department so strong admin skills are desirable.
Duties of the role include:
- Managing minor works across the building portfolio, scheduling and booking subcontractors
- Working with internal stakeholders when arranging project works to ensure they don't interrupt key on site business
- Support any 'toolbox talks' to introduce new / revised policies, safe systems of work / risk assessments
- Comply with H&S legislation
- Collate and provide input and feedback on suite of safe systems of work and risk assessments
- Contractor management policies and procedures
- Working with the Head of Estates to provide support in developing the departments governance, policy and documentation arrangements
- Collate and provide input and feedback on current suite of policies and procedures based on best practice and sector expertise
- Support the rollout and acceptance of new policies
- Produce monthly reporting on compliance activities and service partner performance

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Strong administration skills
- Interest in policies and procedures (experience desirable)
- Experience with scheduling and managing FM small works projects
- Good communications skills
- Good commercial accumen
