Static Electrical Engineer
Bristol - Large Site - Brand New Contract!
BS5 6XX
Monday - Friday, 08:00-17:00
£36,000-£38,000 + Overtime + 1 in 4 call out
One of the UK's leading maintenance companies are looking for a Electrical Engineer to join their team of engineers based on a large commercial site in Bristol, on a brand new contract recently won by the client - our client can offer imminent progression opportunities as well as further training/qualifications.
The successful Electrical Engineer will be responsible for all reactive and pre planned maintenance on site and integrate in to a team of over 10 engineers. They will ideally have previous experience with electrical fault finding and repairs, as well as good knowledge of writing reports and dealing with paperwork.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide a reactive and proactive maintenance service
- Provide a multi-skilled maintenance service, which covers mechanical and electrical disciplines
- Provide a service that ensures all mechanical and electrical equipment is running to optimum performance
- Provide a service that ensures all key performance indicators are met
- Carry out modifications and installations when required
- Liaise with sub-contractors and external suppliers
- Take ownership of tools and equipment provided and ensure they are maintained to an appropriate standard
- Liaise with client/management
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum NVQ/City and Guilds level 3 qualification in relevant engineering maintenance (electrical)
- Previous maintenance experience in a commercial environment
- Be flexible towards work & carry out duties that may not be specific to your trade
- The successful post holder must be qualified to BS7671 (Current Edition of the IEE Regulations)
- Have at least 5 years associated trade experience post apprenticeship.
- Be able to partake in a call-out rota (1 in 4)
