One of the UK's growing FM companies are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team based on a Natural History Museum located in Tring. The Museum is home to over 4,900 amazing specimens to view as well as galleries, café's, shops and outdoor eating areas.
Working with a close knit team, and along side the employees of the museum you will need to be a client facing person with a positive attitude in the workplace as well as being reliable and able to complete both planned and reactive maintenance duties.
We are looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Engineer with a good knowledge of Facilities Maintenance. The ideal candidate needs to be reliable, able to complete work within required time frame and manage own deadline requirements. Have a calm manner and be able to work under pressure and against rapidly changing demands and priorities. Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing support to other areas of the business on occasions, as required.

Responsibilities:
- Carried out planned and reactive maintenance throughout the site
- Communicating with the customers on the site if needed
- Multi-skilled trades service provision to site, plumbing and other trades as required
- Reactive maintenance in accordance to SLA and KPI's.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing local site standards and procedures whilst complying with legal regulations
- Assist in the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance across site working alongside the site Technical Services Manager and Small Works Manager.
- Flexibility to carry out other reasonable requests from line manager to support the wider team.
Experience/Skills:
- Recognized electrical or mechanical qualification
- Working with F-Gas system advantageous
- Experience of building maintenance, handyperson or janitorial duties.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements within a building environment.
- Have a proactive approach to maintenance and building management.
- Confident, driven and pro-active.
- Able to do the job right and do it right first time, within a pre-determined timescale.
- Willingness to undertake further training
