Technical Project Manager / Quantity Surveyor (NEW ROLE)
£55,000 - £65,000 + Company Benefits & Travel Allowance
North London - Mobile Role
Monday - Friday / 8 - 5
Our client, a massive Facilities Management provider are looking for a new Project Manager / QS to join their division and manage a large area of the South of the UK.
This is a brand new position for a Technical Project Manager, Technical Quantity Surveyor or Technical Project Lead to step into. Working across multiple different types of contracts in the South East / Midlands.
Your day to day will involve interacting with a small project team, proof reading, building a customer base and gathering information to give strong support on handovers/landings.
Responsibilities:
- Produce clear and concise documentation to support the M&E elements of the Projects
- Quantity Surveyor duties (previous experience in this field very ideal)
- Liaising effectively with the Client Project Team to generate accurate and concise documentation for new systems prior to handover
- Research, analyse and understand technology and applications for the documentation that will be produced
- Communicating / collaborating with different departments like engineers and managers to identify technical specifications and information
- Test and update written material with users
- Ensure technical information is organised, managed, and published as per time scales
- Liaise and co-ordinate with both internal teams and external suppliers/contractors
- Produce and provide illustrations / photographs when required
Experience:
- A qualification/s in a recognised engineering discipline
- Experience of CAFM systems
- Experience of working with internal colleagues and specialist contractors
- Experience in a QS role (Ideal)
- Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and be comfortable with customers at all levels.
- Good analytical skills, having the ability to review and comment on documentation/data.
- The ability to challenge when something doesn't look right, ensuring that issues are addressed to the client's satisfaction
- Ability to work with Microsoft products and provide data/reports to the client
