Mobile Fabric Engineer - NEW ROLE

£27,000 - £29,000 + Overtime & On Call 1 - 8 (£105 per week)

Mobile Role - West Sussex to Hastings

Company Vehicle & Fuel Card

Monday - Friday / 8 - 5

Working across one of the largest government contracts on the South coast as a Mobile Fabric Engineer, joining a large team of 10 engineers, with various disciplines from electrical, fabric and mechanical.

The area you will be required to cover will primarily be along the South coast and surrounding areas as a Mobile Fabric Engineer carrying out a multitude of tasks such as planned preventive and reactive maintenance.

Responsibilities:


  • Experience of building maintenance, handyperson or janitorial duties.
  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements within a building environment.
  • Have a proactive approach to maintenance and building management.
  • Ability to provide a schedule of works for identified additional/remedial works.
  • Writing and following risk and method statements as required on a daily basis.
  • Provide excellent customer service to building occupants, ensuring they are made aware of work order progress in a timely manner.
  • Good knowledge of building Statutory Compliance.
  • Ability to record work accurately on work sheets and computer based systems.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work within a team.
  • Experience of working within a customer focused environment.
  • Wanting to achieve success, for his or her self, the business and the customer.

Experience/Qualifications:


  • Ideally applicants will have a trade qualification (Carpentry/Plumbing/Painting & Decorating)
  • A can do attitude towards any given task
  • Previous experience working as a Fabric Technician
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
