Static Mechanical Engineer (NEW POSITION)
£36,000 - £38,000 + On Call (1 - 4)
Templecombe (Parking On Site)
Monday - Friday / 8 - 5
Based on a Large Manufacturing site
Our largest client has recently invested into a contract and is now looking to grow their team on this particular manufacturing contract, working as a part of a team of 12 engineers in total all with fresh experience from various trades.
With the large investment into this contract they will be covering it up until 2026 with a 5 year contract extension pushing to 2031. This role as a Static Mechanical Engineer will give any applicant a massive advantage in developing more maintenance skills and knowledge.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide a reactive and proactive maintenance service
- Provide a multi-skilled maintenance service, mechanical disciplines
- Provide a service that ensures all mechanical equipment is running to optimum performance
- Provide a service that ensures all key performance indicators are met
- Carry out modifications and installations as well as project works when required
- Liaise with sub-contractors and external suppliers
- Take ownership of tools and equipment provided and ensure they are maintained to an appropriate standard
- Keeping logbooks up to date
- Liaise with client/management
- Ensuring health & safety is met at all times
- Providing a professional service at all times
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum NVQ/City and Guilds Level 2 or 3 qualification in relevant engineering maintenance, ideally AC biased
- F-Gas 2079
- Previous experience with minor installation and project works
- Flexible attitude towards working hours
- Well presented with previous client-facing experience (desirable)
