Mobile Fabric Engineer / Mobile Handyman
£28,000 - £30,000 + Van and petrol paid!
Monday-Friday
Normal working hours (flexible)
Woking area only
We are looking to employee a Fabric Engineer to join our mobile team working across Woking. This role would entail working across council contracts and Public Sector Properties
Daily tasks include Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, general building services, painting, and decorating.
Working on a mobile basis you will be provided with your own vehicle, tools, tablet and a mobile phone, as well as holidays, pension schemes and overtime rates.
The role is based in Woking with no travel into London so perfect for someone not wanting to travel into the city every day.
Job specific responsibilities:
- Basic Plumbing
- Basic Carpentry
- Lamp changing
- Take Tap Temperatures
- Flushing
- PPM's
- Reactive maintenance
- Plant Room Checks
- Assist other engineers onsite as required
- Replacement of floor tiles (carpet ceramic)
- Replace suspended ceiling tiles and clean ceiling grilles
- Painting & Decorating
- Tiling
- Client facing role
Experience/Qualifications:
- Ideally applicants will have a trade qualification (Carpentry/Plumbing/Painting & Decorating)
- A can do attitude towards any given task
- Previous experience working as a Fabric Technician
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
