Electrical Shift Engineer

£41,000 + Overtime & Company Benefits/Progression

BRAND NEW SITE - Borehamwood

Static - Parking On Site

2 Days - 2 Nights - 2 Off / 48hr Week

Brand new role and brand new state of the art facility, newly opened in April. Our client is now looking to recruit and mobilise a team onto the site, this role will be suited to a Electrical Shift Engineer, Shift Engineer, Shift Electrician wanting a fresh challenge.

This site is 27.5 acres and has multiple buildings which will undertake maintenance and repairs, electrical works, compliance and general building services. The team will be made up of 5-6 engineers across the site. This contract is a large media production company who are in partnership with the biggest FM providers in Europe.

Responsibilities:


  • Ensure that all equipment and services are maintained and operated in a safe condition to comply with Health & Safety.
  • Monitor regular inspection procedures (preventative maintenance programme) of equipment.
  • Record and keep logs of inspection reports and remedial work.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of statutory regulations and to ensure awareness of all safety procedures.
  • Undertake electrical repairs and installations as appropriate.
  • Undertake duties that are non-electrical as requested by management.
  • Ensure all reactive jobs & PPMs are completed inline with KPI's.
  • Understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time.
  • Understand and comply with policies and procedures.
  • Attend and fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required.
  • Undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required.

Experience/Qualifications:


  • City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1&2 qualification or equivalent.
  • IEE 18th Edition Regulations
  • Experience in dealing with all types of electrical installation work, within the services sector.
  • Ability to undertake all facets of maintenance and installation requirements as required within the scope of the contract.
  • Be pro-active and have the ability to anticipate and/or diagnose and repair faults.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise own workload.
