Interior Designer - expanding hotel group

We are looking for a creative and imaginative Interior Designer to undertake a variety of hospitality space designing projects from concept to completion.

Our client currently has 14 hotels located in the Netherlands and is on a mission with their strong ambition to grow internationally; the business has secured funding so is growing across Europe. They will be opening new hotels in new markets such as the UK, Germany, Scandinavia, France and Belgium, to name a few.
You must have International Experience; you can be located anywhere in Europe and be willing to travel for extended periods of time, the Head office is located in Amsterdam with expansion EU wide.
What will you do?
- Undertake design project from concept to completion
- Determine with the stakeholders the goals and requirements of the project
- Interpret and translate needs into rough plans
- Negotiate fees and set schedules for the project
- Research and decide on materials and products sourcing
- Place orders for materials and oversee installing the design and styling elements
- Work closely with concept agencies, designers, decorators, architects and constructors
- Research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practices
- Procurement of FFE and OSE
- In some smaller projects do the creative work and in larger projects manage other designers
Who are you?
- Proven working experience in decorating interior spaces
- Expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs
- Excellent portfolio of previous works, preferably in hospitality or retail
- Attention to detail and finishings
- Artistic ability, vision and creativity
- Inspirational communication and presentation skills
- Project ant time management skills
- BS degree in Interior Design or a similar relevant field
