Facilities Associate
Glasgow
£31k plus 30 days holiday and civil service pension
Love facilities management but want a more varied role? Wish your current employer cared more about sustainability? What about accessibility?
If you're looking for a facilities role that does more than just pay lip service to these things, read on…
In your new facilities role you'll be looking after our sites in Glasgow and Cardiff. This is an exciting time to join as there are a number of planned office moves coming up in the next 12 months and you'll be front and centre of managing those - giving you projects you can really make your own. The organisation are in the middle of welcoming staff back on to site and implementing a hybrid working policy so you'll also be supporting this.
Alongside the project work you'll be involved in day-to-day facilities management, making sure the offices are safe and, importantly, accessible for all staff and visitors. There is a big focus on sustainability here so lots of opportunity to take a leading role in this too.
If you have experience in facilities or building management we'd love to hear from you!
Owing to the users of the building you will need a good working knowledge of part M building regulations alongside health and safety.
As you'll be looking after 2 sites there will be an element of (expensed) travel as part of the Facilities Associate role.
The organisation you'd be working with is a leader in human rights and champions better living and working practices for everyone in the UK.
This means that your job will have real meaning. The sites you'll be looking after will be used as examples of how workplaces should operate and you'll be able to keep at the top of your game throughout your time in the role.
