Trainee Maintenance Engineer
Filton, Bristol - BS34
Monday - Friday, 8am / 5pm
Salary - £24,000 - £26,000+
We are looking for a new trainee maintenance engineer to join a large team of engineers on a well-known aerospace site in Filton, Bristol.
We are looking for someone to join this growing team who is enthusiastic, hungry and looking to learn and progress within the company. As a company they can offer career progression, job security and opportunities to up-skill.
The ideal candidate needs to be reliable, able to complete work within required time frame and manage own deadline requirements. Previous experience in a Facilities Maintenance / engineering role is ideal but not required.
Benefits included:
- £24,000-£26,000 per year
- Mon-Fri 08:00-17:00
- Tools provided
- 25 days holidays per year + bank holidays
- 40 hours a week

Job specific responsibilities:
- Perform planned preventative maintenance, compliance tasks and reactive works.
- Working safely and professionally in a client facing environment
- Service, test, diagnose and repair systems related to the building systems.
- Carry out electrical and mechanical and system checks when required
- General Building services work when required.
- Client facing role
Qualifications / Experience:
- Good knowledge of general maintenance / engineering work
- Ideally hold a trade qualification
- Well-presented, client facing appearance
- Excellent team working, customer care and problem-solving capabilities.
