Job Title:  Business Development Director

Sector: Facilities Management – Security

Location: Field Based (with regular travel)

Salary: £60,000 + Excellent Commission + Car / Car allowance + Expenses

My client is a leading facilities management company with a reputation for excellence.

To support their sustained growth, we are currently recruiting for a Business Development Director to join a passionate and driven team across UK & Ireland.

About the role:

The core objective of this Business Development Director role is to build a pipeline of prospect clients across Logistics, Manufacturing and Distribution. This will be a full 360 role and you will need to be happy to identify and research new business opportunities and lead the full tender process too. Key to this role will be your proven track record in selling Security services and solutions.

All About you:

You will be a target driven sales professional with first-class client relationship skills. Happy to network and be confident in your approach with the ability to influence and win new business.

You will be tenacious, collaborative and ambitious with in depth knowledge of security requirements for a variety of client types and sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business research via CRM database.
  • Pipeline and prospect base development.
  • Contacting potential new business clients, understanding their needs with a view to booking meetings.
  • Meeting and exceeding appointments and sales targets.
  • Diarising and maintaining up-to-date records on the CRM database.
  • Building effective relationships with prospective clients and Business Development Teams.
  • Identifying new business opportunities.
  • Leading the tender process from start to finish.
  • Closing the deal in line with the company business governance process.
  • Working closely with operational colleagues to maximise new business opportunities and retain existing customers in line with the divisional strategy.
