Build Recruitment are working with an NHS Trust based in North London to source a permanent Health & Safety Manager: £50k
Reporting to the Head of Estates and Compliance, the Health & Safety Manager with work closely and collaboratively with the Estates, Capital and Management Group as well as with Senior Managers, leading on key health and safety issues to influence and deliver short-, medium- and long-term implementation plans specifically for health and safety management.
The Health and Safety Manager will also be responsible for representing the Trust at regional IOSH health and safety meetings as well as to attend regular strategic meetings and training updates to maintain compliance with all statutory and legal requirements for health and safety.
About you:
Applicants will hold a NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent and be a Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). It is essential that applicants hold a full UK Driving License.
Due to multiple stakeholder groups (internal and external) my client is looking for a well organised and thorough and articulate Health and Safety Manager who possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
