£35k - £40k

This is the Electrician role for you…
The job itself is fairly straightforward - you'll be looking after the electrical maintenance of Luton Parkway train station and new DART site, which connects the station to Luton airport.
As an experienced Electrician won't be anything you've not dealt with before across HV distribution, UPS, lighting and alarm systems. Day-to-day you'll be running PPMs; fault finding, diagnosis and repair on reactive works; maintaining the equipment's compliance and getting involved in wider facilities projects to add some variety.
The main difference here is that because it's site-based you'll be able to invest long-term in the equipment and take real pride in your work. You'll be supported by a small multi-skilled team who report into you.
This is a shift based position but only Monday and Friday; 6am - 10pm so you'll get home every night and keep weekends free.
To hit the ground running you'll need to have an electrical background and trade qualifications. At present the DART site is still under construction so experience on site and a SMSTS certification would be ideal.
If you had any HV experience that would be a bonus too.

Package
£35k - £40k basic salary (dependent upon experience)
