Looking for a static role close to home?
Our client is looking for a HVAC Engineer to be based at a large pharmaceutical site in Chippenham - on site you'll be responsible for reactive & planned maintenance, minor installation as well as keeping site logbooks up to date as well as dealing with the client on a daily basis.
Job Responsibilities for a HVAC Engineer:
- Complete air conditioning maintenance & reactive works
- Perform planned preventative maintenance, compliance tasks and reactive works when needed.
- Service, test, diagnose and repair systems related to the building services.
- Carry out all reactive breakdowns and services.
- Use provided test and monitoring equipment to maintain engineering systems to aid fault and repair.
- Carrying out pre-planned maintenance, attend service call, diagnosing and repairing faults with air conditioning and refrigeration in commercial and industrial environments.
- Keeping logbooks up to date
- Liaising with clients & management
Qualifications / Experience for a HVAC Engineer:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (desirable)
- F-Gas (essential)
- Good all round M&E knowledge
- Previous experience working in client-facing environments
- Previous experience with logbooks & compliance
- Excellent team working skills
- Flexible attitude
