Minor Works Manager
Durham
£35K plus benefits
Our client is looking for as minor works manager to join their team based in Durham. You will be required to travel across a number of sites in the North East.
The Role
- Costing works, producing quotes and estimates for works.
- Liaising with the client and sub contractors
- Managing the project and lifecycle works on each contract. ( values £2k - £2.8M)
- Producing site specific programmes for pre con and construction phases.
- Risk assessment and method statements
- Oversee and management of sub contractors on site
- Site set up, inductions and work permits
- Ensure all H&S is kept up to date on site
- Reports costs and budgetary control to the project manager
Qualifications & Skills
- You will have a minimum qualifications of HNC/OND or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering or fabric.
- IOSH or SMSTS
- Have costing experience
- Have 3 years minimum experience of working on projects.
