Static Fabric Engineer 

£28,000- £30,000

Mon-Fri – 09:00- 18:00

Greater London-Lewisham

We have a fantastic opportunity available working for a luxury national student accommodation company who specialise in providing the ideal place to call home with inspirational properties, reimagined to put student wellbeing and health first.

 Working on a modern, revolutionary workspace that are designed to improve student work life and wellbeing with onsite gyms, bars and restaurants, based in central London.

We are looking for someone to join this growing team who is enthusiastic and hungry to learn and progress within the company. As a company they can offer career progression, job security and opportunities to up-skill.

We are looking to recruit a Fabric Engineer or Maintenance Technician to work on a static basis. 

We are looking to recruit a Fabric Engineer with a good knowledge of Facilities Maintenance. The ideal candidate needs to be reliable, able to complete work within required time frame and manage own deadline requirements. Have a calm manner and be able to work under pressure and against rapidly changing demands and priorities. Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing support to other areas of the business on occasions, as required.

Benefits included:


  • Mon-Fri 09:00-18:00
  • £28,000- £30,000
  • Tools provided
  • 23 days holidays per year + bank holidays
  • 45 hours a week

Job specific responsibilities:


  • Perform planned preventative maintenance, compliance tasks and reactive works.
  • Painting/Decorating and providing a professional finish at all times.
  • Working safely and professionally in a client facing environment
  • Service, test, diagnose and repair systems related to the building systems.
  • Carry out electrical and mechanical and system checks when required
  • General Building services work when required.
  • Client facing role

Qualifications / Experience:


  • Good knowledge of painting/decorating
  • Well-presented, client facing appearance
  • Excellent team working, customer care and problem-solving capabilities.
