Build Recruitment are engaged by a London based multi-disciplinary consultancy to source a Clerk of Works to maintain the consistently high standard of quality control and supervision that my client provides their Public Sector client base. £35k - £40k + car allowance and benefits.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager the Clerk of Works (Site Inspector) will be responsible for liaising with clients and attending meetings as necessary, with contractors and clients to ensure that the project is delivered in accordance with the contract.
Working closely with the Project Team, the Clerk of Works will also be responsible for preparing concise progress reports from site inspections in a timely manner as well as ensuring that any witness tests and inspections are carried out in a timely manner and do not cause unnecessary delay.
About you:
Applicants are expected to have a recognized qualification (ICWCI) and/or significant experience as a Clerk of Works or Site Manager as well a having a basic Mechanical & Electrical working knowledge
Applicants must also possess knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages and the ability to learn and utilise specific software required for the role.
