Job Title: General Manager – Airport Parking Operations
Salary: up to 30KAED per month (tax free) with excellent company benefits
Location: Dubai, UAE
Who will you be working for?
Our client is a pioneer in the Middle East for being the leading airport investor/operator for parking operations and integrated technology.
What are we looking for as General Manager?
We are recruiting for an exciting new role for our client based in Dubai as a General Manager. We are looking for someone who is not afraid to get stuck in but also knows how to direct and give instruction. The suitable person will have a strong background in airport parking, liaising with stakeholders and managing staff on a day-to-day basis. Understanding the importance of budget control and overall, an enthusiastic person.
Responsibilities of a General Manager –
- Direct and coordinate all activities of the parking business with Internal Mawgif departments and Dubai Airports stakeholders
- With Operations Manager, manage staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties
- With Operations Manager ensuring all preventative maintenance and support is taken out to ensure 99.9% up time of all hardware and software access control and payment
- Fulfill all contract requirements as set out in the concession agreement and prevent incurring penalties for noncompliance of key performance indicators as set down in the concession agreement
- Review financial statements, revenue and occupancy reports, and other perfomance data to measure performance and goal achievement and to detemine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement
- Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with senior management, organization officials and staff members as necessary
- Determine staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees, or oversee those personnel processes
- Monitor internal departments to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed services while staying within time limits
- Create new parking products that will generate revenue
- Direct and coordinate Mawgif financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency
- Determine goods and services to be sold, and set prices and credit terms, based on forecasts of customer demand
