What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have 5 years’ experience in the facility management field or possess a Bachelor’s degree in this area. Experience and knowledge of maintenance are appreciated, however, the communication skills in English and Italian are a must since this role is more of a coordinator role and will need to supervise up to 3 other properties in the area.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe atmosphere by making sure colleagues follow health and safety procedures
- Occasional site visits to the other properties in Italy
- Overseeing building projects, renovations or refurbishments
- Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness
- Inspecting buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations
- Perform analysis and forecasting
- Supervise staff like technicians and external contractors
- Calculate and compare costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money
