Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician
Mobile: Leeds/York
Our client is recruiting for a mobile multi skilled maintenance technician to cover sites in Leeds and York. The role is with a large FM Company, that offer opportunities for both personal and career progression. Alongside an competitive basic salary, overtime may be available on time and a half/double time rates.
Main duties include but are not limit to:
- Legionella/tap temperature testing.
- Testing emergency lighting.
- Reactive maintenance: repairing general wear and tear to the building.
- Assisting with the movement of furnishings.
- Undertaking handypersons duties as directed by Site Management as outlined below, but not limited to:
- Monitoring stock levels of consumable items such as fuel, grit, toiletries, light bulbs/tubes, and arrange to replenish supplies in accordance with current procedures
- Clearing blockages, removing foreign matter from sinks, toilets, drains, kitchen grease traps etc. and cleaning spillages as required
- Escorting, where necessary, Personnel visiting the site (e.g. contractors)
- Complying with Health and Safety requirements as well as other relevant legislation and Site Rules, carrying out weekly site compliance tests such as EM lighting, Fire Alarm Testing and assisting with evacuation procedures
