Our General Manager loves working for us because:
“When I joined Herbert Parkinson I was initially drawn into the family feel of the site & its heritage. The scope of my role enabled me to interact with many Partners across all levels on site and the wider Partnership. Having joined just before the first Covid 19 lockdown didn't come without its own challenges, however leap forward a few weeks & months and you really do feel part of the family almost immediately.
Thrown in head first resolving problems, Partner concerns, planning for the future, it was not like any other business I had worked for - it was special! Although my service to the Partnership has been short in comparison to other Partners, the amount I have been involved with, able to steer & lead on does really demonstrate what being a Partner means. My views, ideas & plans have not only been listened to & challenged at times, I have also had the fortune to see some of these thoughts & ideas come to fruition in a very short space of time - which is really rewarding.”
