Job objectives

The role will support the client contract operation, ensuring that the delivery in terms planning, and compliance of PPM and associated remedial tasks are in line with contractual KPI targets and SLA's, including the review and uploading of all paperwork associated with PPM tasks.

Responsibilities:


  • Ensure delivery of self delivery and specialist supplier activities.
  • Obtain a high level of understanding of the contract in order to direct the necessary services and ensure a proactive approach to asset management, particularly with respect to the requirement.
  • To liaise with and cooperate with the Regional Managers, Specialist Suppliers and Process Owners and any other associated users
  • Attend meetings with subcontractors to ensure they are sure of the contract requirements
  • Provide reports on performance and highlight areas of improvement.
  • Strong leadership skills and high energy to inspire and engage with the FM, Service Centre, Engineering teams, Supply chain specialists and stakeholders to deliver the contractual and legislative obligations.
  • The role will be the support conduit between the Service Centre Co-ordinators and the engineering teams along with the supply chain for all 'PPM and Remedial activities that require an input and adherence to SSoW. Supporting the development and implementation of structure and processes to determine asset criticality based on the overall business risk, and lead the specification of optimized maintenance strategies to ensure whole life cost is minimized through effective use of innovative condition monitoring, inspection and maintenance techniques to achieve contractual outcomes.
  • As a member of the Service Centre Management team with a direct link to the Compliance team, the role will also be responsible for the support, development and implementation of the delivery structure and associated processes across the set of contracts through the effective use of resources, systems and processes embedding the right culture & behaviours along with ownership & accountability for meeting and setting, service delivery targets as well as planning areas of improvement or development to ensure that the delivery of work activities are in line with contractual, legal, safety and statutory obligations and performance matrices

Essential:


  • Strong leadership skills and high energy to inspire and engage the service centre, engineering teams, supply chain and stakeholders
  • Experience interfacing directly with customers and management teams including conducting briefings and technical meetings for management and customer representatives
  • In depth experience of Compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience managing all elements of service delivery
  • Comprehensive understanding of risk management, including the use of Risk Management tools and techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively in matrix environment including working collaboratively with multiple teams across agencies and physical locations.
  • Strong communication skills, written, oral and listening skills.
  • Strong business acumen and diverse business perspective; ability to think logically and strategically.
  • Experienced in supplier management and driving supplier performance to the required contractual KPI's.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and independently with individuals at various levels including the leadership team, customers, and suppliers.
  • Responsible for promoting a positive safety culture.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing maintenance strategies and renewal plans for critical assets across various building portfolios to ensure assets achieve stakeholder objectives including safe operations and meeting performance and availability targets
  • Deliver the strategy and change programme with significant pace
  • Responsible for ensuring that the specialist supplier competencies are maintained, enhanced, audited and kept up to date in conjunction with the Compliance Managers
  • Develop teams to ensure enhancement of required prerequisite skills and succession planning
  • Aid professional growth of skilled workforce and support the development of their skills and careers
  • Ensuring full compliance contractual obligations
  • Manage additional ad hoc tasks as requested

Person Specification


  • Proven success in operations /planning /or team leader and at least 3 years proven experience in related complex systems and PPM regimes to diverse multi-site and complex operations.
  • Full understanding of ensuring full compliance with contractual, legal, safety and statutory obligations
  • Strong operational background
  • Proven success integrating efforts and products from major subcontractors
  • Proven track record in managing requirements and managing client engagements
  • Served in key support and management leadership positions
  • Demonstrates ability to implement and meet targets across multiple sites
  • Has clear understanding of FM industry
  • Has proven ability to manage, develop and motivate multiple teams
  • Demonstrates well-developed communication, relationship management and influencing skills
  • Experience of managing statutory contract performance and documentation
  • Competent in managing health and safety
