Air Conditioning Engineer
Derby
£34,000 - £36,000
You have the opportunity to work with a Derby based Manufacturing and engineering based company that has operated for over 30 years. They offer complete mechanical and electrical services to multiple market sectors, inclusive of the construction, agriculture, automotive, aerospace, rail and defence sectors
The Air Conditioning Engineer role will be a mobile position, covering the Midlands. The role will be carrying out installation, service, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of commercial and industrial HVAC systems; this will include VRVs, VRFs, AHUs, chiller units and refrigeration systems.
You will be working on a range of HVAC systems made by a variety of manufacturers.
Air Conditioning Engineer responsibilities will include;
- Diagnosing and fixing HVAC systems
- Collection and fitting of new parts
- Carrying out reactive calls and planned maintenance
- Updating service records and timekeeping information in an accurate and timely way
- Updating client reporting systems in an accurate and timely way
- Working safely in line with health and safety procedures
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2/3 - Air conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent
- City & Guilds 2079 F-Gas Category 1 or equivalent
- Full UK Drivers Licence
Air Conditioning Engineer Package:
- Salary: £34K - £36K
- 40 Hours per week
- 25 days holiday plus statutory
- Paid travel time
- Company vehicle, fuel card, PDA etc.
- Further training and development
