In your new Assistant QS role you'll manage our suppliers across the UK to make sure we're delivering the best service possible to our clients. Whether that's getting the most competitive price from a HVAC supplier or ensuring accurate contractor reporting and invoicing you'll oversee the supply chain to ensure best practice.
We pride ourselves on the quality and consistently of information we give our client about their commercial property portfolio so a big part of your role will be business analysis. You'll help us (and them) track the costs of maintaining their sites, map out strategies for future works and find areas where we can improve. This is a crucial part of our relationship with our client so your contribution won't go unnoticed.
To hit the ground running you will need to come from a surveying, commercial or estimating background in FM and be used to dealing with high volume, low value works.
Intermediate MS Excel skills (pivot tables, V look ups etc.) to be able to run the business analyst side of the role will be a big benefit. If you enjoy collaborating with lots of different people; from your colleagues on the contract to external suppliers to the client themselves this job is going to suit you.
We're only a small QS team at the moment but the organisation is growing quickly which means there are big plans for us in the future and it's expected you will continue to develop your commercial and surveying skills in line with that.

Package
£28k - £32k basic salary (dependent upon experience)
25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
