We are currently recruiting for an experienced Area Housing Manager based in Leeds to cover a local West Yorkshire contract. Working with a local housing association, you will manage a TFM contract of circa 300 flats and 150 extra-care accommodation properties, working closely with the customer to ensure customer satisfaction across the contract. You will have a maintenance team and housing team reporting in to provide a comprehensive service to the housing association and it's tenants.
Duties of the role:
- Deliver the PFI contract both operationally and financially in line with KPI's.
- Responsible for the maintenance department who will deliver responsive repairs, cyclical maintenance, variations, projects and lifecycle works
- Responsible for the tenant experience delivered by the housing team which includes housing and rents arrears officers.
- Making sure the contract is profitable by achieving quality standards with minimal deductions.
- Work in partnership with the Client (SPV and Authority) to maximise resident satisfaction, maintenance standards and contract potential.
- Working to stringent health, safety, compliance and quality standards.
- Working to engineering legislation and standards
- Deliver a pro-active, cost-effective and timely subcontractor management strategy ensuring successful delivery of services.
Experience
- Experience of PFI Contracts.
- Experience of working in Social Housing
- Experience of effectively and accurately managing budgets more than £3m.
- Experience of managing full TFM provision
- Good communication and customer care skills
- Proactive approach to problem solving
- Able to manage and develop teams and individuals
