Static Fabric Technician
Swindon
Monday - Friday, Normal Working Hours
£28,000.00
We are currently looking to recruit a Static Fabric Technician to be based at a brand new distribution site in Dartford - as the Static Fabric Technician on site you will be responsible for all fabric tasks as well as supporting other engineers with any other maintenance that may arise on a day to day basis.

Responsibilities:
- Carry out remedial works in response to safety audits
- Carry out PPM service visits using appropriate tools and systems.
- Ensure all site logbooks, acting as the primary Technician are in date and accurate.
- Support Helpdesk with allocating calls to the correct engineers for your sites
- Periodically review planners.
- Ensure availability of resources for designated contracts.
- Make and document any PPM changes / variations
- General fabric maintenance
Experience/Qualifications:
- 17th Edition/18th Edition desirable but not required
- Demonstrate experience in maintenance and repair of a wide and varied range of electrical systems and mechanical systems.
- Undertake repair and fault finding on critical systems and equipment.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and completing all report sheets.
- Maintenance of lighting systems and emergency light testing.
- Level 2 Diploma in Construction Skills Bench Joinery, or a Level 2 Extended Diploma in Site Carpentry is desirable.
- Level 2 NVQ in Painting and Decorating is desirable.
